EDAP prepares information, and drafts economic studies and expert reports necessary to evidence gathering in the scope of international antidumping cases.

The significant and growing exposure of the Brazilian economy to international trade has increased the number of antidumping disputes. In Brazil, evidence gathering in cases involving subsidies, safeguards and dumping in particular is conducted by the Commercial Defense Department (Decom) of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MIDC) and its findings are reviewed by the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Camex).

Due to its broad experience in trade remedies, EDAP also offers strategic guidance to companies involved in these cases.

EDAP also advises on preparation of permanent or temporary Mercosur Common External Tariff (TEC) change requests.
